Shisha

Shisha, Nargilah, Argeela, Hooka, Hubble bubble, Ghalyan. Arabic smoking water pipes with fruit or exotic cocktail flavoured tobacco are known by many names, but it essentially stands as a symbol of wealth or easy life. A mainstay of Turkish coffeshops, Moroccan souks, Emirati homes, cafes, maqhah the shisha has now found a new home in KL and getting famous for KL-ites, For local "Yum Cha" means drinking session at the mamak but now "Yum Cha" can also related to Shisha, thanks to the growing local Middle Eastern community. We smoked it up for this issue - to find out the best shisha haunts in the Valley.
